The petition is filed for directing the respondent to forthwith take cognizance of the petitioner's complaint dated 13th September, 2014. In our considered view, this petition can conveniently be disposed of by directing the Inspector-in-charge, Amboli Police Station to hold a preliminary inquiry and take appropriate decision in respect of the petitioner's said complaint, a copy of which is annexed at Exhibit A, page 8, expeditiously and preferably within a period of seven days from the date of receipt of this order and thereafter communicate the same to the petitioner. Ordered accordingly.
