Heard the learned counsel the petitioner.

A limited prayer in this petition is to direct the learned Special Judge (MCOC), Thane to hear and decide the Bail Application at Exh.55 preferred by the petitioner in the Special Court, expeditiously.

The petitioner is arraigned in C.R.No. 196 of 2017. The petitioner came to be arrested on 24th October 2017. The petitioner has been arraigned for the offences punishable under sections 385, 387, 120-B read with 34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 ('the Penal Code') and sections 3(1)(ii), 3(2) and 3(4) of the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act, 1999 ('MCOC Act'). The petitioner Shraddha Talekar, PS 1/2

The petitioner preferred the Bail Application (Exh.55) on 22nd July 2021. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the prosecution has fled its say to the application. However, the application has not yet been heard and decided. A copy of the roznama is annexed to the application.

Without delving into the circumstances, which prevented the application of the petitioner for bail from being heard and decided, it would be expedient to direct the learned Special Judge, MCOC Court, Thane to hear and decide the Bail Application (Exh.55) as expeditiously as possible, and preferably before 10th June 2022. 6.

The petition stands disposed.
