P.C.:- Dr. Vishal V. Nehul, Assistant Commissioner of Police, EOW, Navi Mumbai has filed an Affidavit dated 1st September, 2023. To the said Affidavit (page No.407) a communication dated 9th May, 2023 addressed to the Commissioner of Police, Navi Mumbai signed by the Deputy Secretary, Home Department, Government of Maharashtra is annexed. By the said communication, the Commissioner of Police was directed to conduct further inquiry into the allegations made with respect to the subject matter of the 1/2

ssm 59-wp3099.21.doc Petition and subsequently raised on the floor of the Assembly. 2) In paragraph No.8 of the said Affidavit itself, it is stated that further inquiry report dated 9th August, 2023 is submitted to the Respondent No.2 i.e. Government of Maharashtra and the same is under consideration of the Home Department.

3) In view thereof, the prayers of the Petitioner in the Petition have been worked out and the grievance of Petitioner as of today does not survive.

Petition is accordingly disposed off.
