Husband and in-laws of Respondent No.2 have filed present Petition for quashing of C.R. No.256/2018 registered with Nalasopara Police Station, Palghar under Sections 498-A, 377, 406, 504 and 506 read with 34 of the Indian Penal Code, with the consent of Respondent No.2. 1.1 Learned Advocate for the Petitioners, on instructions, submitted that, till date police have not submitted charge-sheet in the said crime. The said statement is accepted.

Learned Advocate for Respondent No.2 submitted that, she has filed an Affidavit dated 9th March 2022 duly affirmed before a Notary public. In the said Affidavit Respondent No.2 has stated that, she has settled the 1/2

NSK 17-wp-2008-2022.doc matter with the Petitioner No.2, her husband, amicably and she does not wish to proceed with her complaint any further. 2.2 The Advocate for Respondent No.2, on instructions, submitted that, the Respondent No.2 reiterates the contents of her Affidavit dated 9th March 2022 and her 'no objection' for quashing of the crime in question. 3.

In view of the above, Petition is allowed in terms of prayer Clause (a).
