This petition is filed raising objection to the warrant of attachment dated 15th March 2017 issued by respondent no. 3 - Special Recovery Officer. Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the objections filed by the petitioner before respondent no. 3 are not decided. 2.

Learned counsel appearing for respondent no. 3 states that the objections filed by the petitioner shall be decided within four weeks from today.

In view of the statement made by respondent no. 3, no further adjudication would be required in the petition. 4.

In view of the aforesaid statement, petition is disposed of by passing following order:

(i) Statement on behalf of respondent no. 3 that the objections shall be decided within four weeks is accepted. (ii) Till objections are decided, respondent no. 3 not to proceed with the attachment warrant.

(iii) In the event any adverse orders are passed in the decision on the objections, the attachment order not to be executed for a period of four weeks from the date of the decision. (iv) It is clarified that rival contentions of the parties are not examined on merits. Hence all contentions of all parties are kept open.

(v) Writ Petition stands disposed of in the aforesaid terms. [GAURI GODSE, J.] 2/2
