2] Heard the learned counsel for the applicant and the learned APP for the State. Perused the record of investigation. 3] It is the prosecution case that, the applicant by submitting fake and/or bogus certificates allegedly issued by Shridhar University, Pilani, State of Rajasthan, procured job in the Customs Department. After 1/3
receiving the complaint, the Customs Department conducted enquiry and during the course of enquiry, it was revealed that, the said Shridhar University, Pilani, State of Rajasthan has neither issued any such certificate nor the applicant was the student of the said University. 4] The learned counsel for the applicant submitted that, the applicant is a meritorious student and was not aware as to how such certificate is bogus and/or fake certificate. The applicant by adopting due procedure got admission in the said University and after completion of the course, he received the said certificate from the said University. He therefore prayed that, the applicant may be protected by granting pre-arrest bail.
5] The record speaks contrary to what the learned counsel for the applicant contended. The record indicates that, the Shridhar University, Pillani, State of Rajasthan in its letter dated 19.4.2017 has stated that, "Candidate is not a student of Shridhar University. Attached certificate is FAKE". 19.4.2017".
