Parties through their counsel. With consent of the parties, the matter has been heard and finally disposed of. The grievance of the Petitioner is that the Respondent No.3 is not taking any decision/action on his representation dated 3.3.2015, Annexure 'B'. According to the Petitioner, there is unauthorised and illegal construction being carried out at the places mentioned in the representation. To remove such encroachments, the Petitioner submitted representation Annexure 'B', which has not yet been considered by the Designated Officer of the Municipal Corporation, Thane (Respondent No.3). 901-WP-4360-2015 Today, when the matter came up for hearing, the only prayer made by the learned counsel for the Petitioner to dispose of the Petition by directing the Respondent No.3 to consider and take appropriate decision on the Petitioner's representation, Annexure 'B' as expeditiously as possible.

Mr. Limaye, the learned counsel appearing for the Municipal Corporation, Thane has submitted that the Petitioner's representation will be considered and an appropriate decision will be taken in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible. In view of the aforesaid stand being taken by the learned counsel for the Municipal Corporation, Thane, we are inclined to dispose of the Petition by directing Respondent No.3 to consider and take appropriate decision on the Petitioner's representation in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible but not later than eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. C.C. as per Rules.
