The prayer of the Petitioner is to direct Respondent to make entries in revenue record showing the Petitioner as the owner which prayer is based on the communication by the District Collector, Thane dated 6 June 2002 to the State Government. 2.

rsk 2 24-WP-6060-18.doc only a proposal, an appropriate course of action for the Petitioner is to bring to the notice of the District Collector that this communication is not being taken forward. Once such a grievance is made to the said Collector, the Collector can look into the grievance. 3.
The Petitioner is permitted to pursue the matter before the Collector. If the Collector finds that the order needs to be implemented, considering the time span for which the Petitioner is waiting, the Collector will take necessary steps expeditiously. The Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of.
