The applicant has preferred application through jail seeking withdrawal of Criminal Appeal No.518 of 2018. In view of prayer made in the application, the Superintendent of Jail, Nashik Road Central Prison was directed to record statement of applicantappellant with regards to withdrawal of appeal pending in this Court. In accordance with order dated 10th March 2022 the report dated 22nd March 2022 has been forwarded by Jail Authorities along with statement of applicant-appellant dated 22-3-2022, which indicate that applicant has undergone substantial period of sentence and he is not interested in pursuing the appeal and same may be disposed of as withdrawn.
