The Petitioner was convicted for an offence punishable u/s 302 and other alleged offences vide judgment order dated 31/08/2007.

The Petitioner was granted parole on 27/06/2008. However, he has surrendered late by 4125 days.

As a sequel of above, it is ordered that the Petitioner is not entitled for remission.

It appears that the Petitioner has hardly undergone the punishment as was awarded to him and as such, in our opinion it is not appropriate to look into the prayer of the Petitioner at this stage.

The Petition stands disposed of with liberty to the Petitioner to approach afresh seeking prayer for remission after the period of three years.
