The contempt alleged is of the order dated 16 September 2019 disposing of the Writ Petition filed by the Petitioner. The only prayer that was sought for and granted in the Petition was decision upon Application made by the Petitioner within a period of 3 months. No other direction was issued.

The learned counsel for the State has placed an affidavit on record stating that decision has been taken on 21 July 2020. According

rsk 2 39-CP-133-21.doc to the Petitioners, this is not a decision as reason given therein is incorrect. This is the challenge to the decision taken on merits. As far as compliance of the order of this Court is concerned, the same has been done. It is open to the Petitioners to challenge the decision by taking out appropriate proceedings. In the circumstances, we are not inclined to proceed further in contempt jurisdiction.
