The above Writ Petition has been filed for two fold reliefs namely that the Respondent No.1 i.e. Security Guards Board for Greater Mumbai and Thane District be directed to register the Petitioners as Security Guards and the second relief sought vide prayer clause (b) is to initiate action against the Respondent No.2 as per the provisions of clause 42 of the Security Guards Scheme 2002.
In so far as the first relief is concerned, the Learned Counsel appearing for the Board Mr. Topkar states that the registration of the Petitioners would be considered in accordance with law and expeditiously. mmj
wp-8398-18(45).doc In so far as the second relief is concerned, it is for the Respondent No.1 to consider objectively whether action is required to be taken against the Respondent No.2 under the provisions of the Act and the Scheme. We do not express any opinion in that regard.
With the observations as aforesaid, the above Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of.
