It is the contention of the petitioners that objections of petitioner No.2 were partly accepted while objections of petitioner No.1 were rejected. It is their further contention that village has 6185 population. The said figure is to be divided by 5 wards. Accordingly population figure is to be distributed for arriving at proper formation of wards which, according to the petitioners, has not been done. 2.

Mr.Shete, learned counsel appearing for respondent No.4Election Commission submits that the population figure has been distributed in the following manner:

Learned counsel submits that in accordance with the rules prescribed for the said purpose i.e. Bombay Village Panchayats (Numbers of Members, Divisions into Wards and Reservation of Seats) Rules, 1966, wards have been formed.
