Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner prays for leave to amend, so as to mention the appeal number. Leave granted. Amendment to be carried out forthwith.

At the outset, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner will be satisfied in case the appellate authority i.e. Divisional Commissioner, Pune Division, Pune, is directed to decide the Appeal No. 63 of 2021 filed by the petitioner, within stipulated period.

Learned APP appearing for State has no objection for directing the appellate authority to decide the pending appeal of the petitioner, if already not decided, within stipulated period, in accordance with law.

In the light of submissions of learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP, the ends of justice would be met if the appellate authority is directed to decide the Appeal No. 63 of 2021, if already not decided, within two weeks from receipt of copy of this order.

Accordingly, the appellate authority is directed to decide the pending Appeal No. 63 of 2021, within two weeks from receipt of copy of this order, on its own merits and in accordance with law, after adhering to the principles of natural justice and communicate the said decision to the petitioner.

With the above observations, writ petition stands disposed of.

Learned APP to communicate this order to the appellate authority by the fastest mode of communication. 8.
