This Application is filed seeking a direction that pending the above Appeal, the Applicant be released on bail on such terms and conditions as this Court deems fit. The Sessions Court, in Sessions Case No. 492 of 2015, has convicted the Applicant for murder under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 and sentenced him to imprisonment JULY 28, 2023 Utkarsh

1.ia.1636.2023.doc for life, along with a fine of Rs.5,000/-, in default to suffer further rigorous imprisonment for 3 months.

This Bail Application is the second such application filed. Earlier, an Application was filed and which was rejected by this Court on 20th February, 2018. We do not find that there are any changed circumstances to entertain the above Bail Application. 3.

However, considering that the Applicant has been in custody for about 8 years, we grant liberty to the Applicant to apply for bail once again after a period of 1 year, if the above Appeal is not decided in the meanwhile.

The Interim Application is accordingly disposed of. However, there shall be no order as to costs. 5.
