Pursuant to the mediation, the parties have amicably settled their dispute and had filed Consent Terms. The said Consent Terms, running into 9 pages, duly signed by the parties and their respective advocates was taken on record on the last date i.e. on 10th March 2022. Xerox copies of two cheques dated 15th December 2021 for Rs. 12,00,000/- and dated 15th January 2022 for Rs. 13,00,000/- were annexed to the said Consent Terms. SQ Pathan 1/2

7-APL-533-2021.doc Learned counsel for the respondent No.2 states that both the said cheques have been encashed by the respondent No.2. The respondent No. 2 is present in Court and acknowledges receipt of the said amounts, pursuant to the Consent Terms entered into between the parties. She states that she will take appropriate steps in the trial Court to withdraw the DV complaint filed against the applicant. Statement accepted In view of the statement made by the respondent No. 2, who is present in Court, learned counsel for the applicant does not press this application and seeks leave to withdraw the application.
