This misc. civil application seeks transfer of matrimonial proceedings from the Family Court at Nashik to the Court of Civil Judge, Senior Division, Kalyan.

Respondent No.1 is the only contesting respondent. Respondent No.2, though served, does not appear.

Learned counsel for Respondent No.1 has no objection to prayer clause (b) being granted. Learned counsel submits that he has email instructions from his client conveying no objection to the proposed transfer. Learned counsel produces a print out of the email addressed by his client to him in this behalf. The same is placed on record and marked 'X' for the purpose of identification.

Misc. civil application is allowed by ordering transfer of marriage petition, being Petition No. A-786 of 2018, from the Family Court at Nashik to the Court of Civil Judge, Senior Division, Kalyan, Dist. Thane.

At the request of learned counsel for Respondent No.1, Learned Civil Judge is requested to dispose of the transferred marriage petition as expeditiously as possible and, preferably, within a period of one year from today.
