The civil application seeks an order for deposit of back wages awarded by the Labour Court in a reference under the Industrial Disputes Act by the Respondent (original Petitioner). After hearing the parties on 16 December 2015, this Court had granted ad-interim relief in terms of prayer clause (b). After hearing the parties on 25 February 2016, this court issued Rule and directed that the ad-interim relief granted earlier shall continue until the disposal of both petitions. Since unconditional stay was granted after hearing the parties, this court is not inclined to consider the prayer for deposit. The civil application is accordingly dismissed. (S.C. Gupte, J.)
