The grievance of the petitioner is that the refund claims have not been processed though pending since long. Learned Counsel for the petitioner states that the respondents have been served long back.

Mr.Walve, learned Counsel appears for the respondents at our request.

It appears that the petitioner has made refund claims to the tune of Rs.64,62,683.78/- with interest. No decision, it appears,

We are not inclined to consider the merit of the matter in the present Writ Petition. The cause of justice would be subserved by passing the following order:-

ORDER

The respondents-authorities shall process the refund claim of the petitioner on its own merit and take decision in accordance with law, expeditiously, preferably within a period of four months.

Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of with the aforesaid observations. No costs.
