The Applicant apprehends arrest in Crime No.222 of 2023 registered with Santa Cruz Police Station, Mumbai for the offences punishable under Section 323, 324, 326, 504 r/w. 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

By order dated 17.04.2023, this Court, for the reasons stated in the said order had granted interim protection to the Applicant. Learned Counsel for the Applicant states that pursuant to the said order, the Applicant has reported to the Investigating Officer and has been interrogated. The said statement is confirmed by the learned APP.

Considering the nature of the accusation, in my considered view presence of the applicant is not required for custodial pps
