A grievance raised in the above petition is that the petitioner's claim for caste validity certificate is pending before respondent No.2- Scheduled Tribe Caste Certificate Scrutiny Committee, Nandurbar, since last more that 5 years. However, the same is not yet decided.

In the above facts and circumstances, we dispose of this petition by passing the following order :

Respondent No.2 is directed to decide the petitioner's caste/tribe claim as expeditiously as possible, and in any case, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of this order.

Respondent No.3 shall not take any coercive action against the petitioner till respondent No.2 decides the petitioner's caste/tribe claim.

The writ petition stands disposed of.
