At the outset, learned counsel for the Applicant states that he does not wish to press prayer clause (b).

This is an application for transit bail filed by the aforesaid Applicant apprehending his arrest in Habra PS Case No.721 of 2022 registered with Barasat Cyber Crime PS, West Bengal for the offences punishable under Sections 406 and 420 of the IPC. Learned counsel for the Applicant states that the Applicant has received a notice to appear before the Cyber Crime Police Station in connection with the said crime. A copy of the said notice is placed on record. 1/2

The Applicant apprehends arrest and seeks transit bail for a period of four weeks to enable him to approach the appropriate Court at West Bengal and to seek appropriate relief. In my considered view, the apprehension of arrest is reasonable.

Considering the apprehension of the Applicant, the Applicant is granted transit bail on the following terms and conditions:- (i) In the event of arrest of the Applicant in Habra PS Case No.721 of 2022 registered with Barasat Cyber Crime PS, West Bengal, he shall be released on transit bail for a period of four weeks on furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs.25,000/- with one or two sureties to the like amount;

(ii) This protection is granted for a period of four weeks from the date of the order to enable the Applicant to approach the Competent Court for seeking appropriate relief.

The Application stands disposed of.
