Vide order dated 8th February, 2021 passed in Criminal Application No. 01 / 2020 in Criminal Appeal No. 465 / 2020, 1/3

Applicant was directed to be released on bail on bond in the sum of Rs. 20,000/- with one or more sureties in the like sum. Admittedly, the Applicant has undergone sentence of more than seven years as against the sentence of ten years.

Dr. Warunjikar submits that the Applicant is unable to execute the bond for the sum Rs. 20,000/- with sureties as there is nobody in the family to support him. Dr. Warunjikar has relied on a letter received by him from the Applicant. I have perused the letter. 3.

In consideration of the facts of the case, the condition to execute the bond in sum of Rs. 20,000/- with one or more sureties is modified. As such the Applicant is directed to be released on executing the personal bond (without sureties) in the sum of Rs.10,000/-. However, the Applicant shall furnish his residential address as well as permanent address if any to the Jail Authorities. That since Applicant being directed to be released without sureties, he shall report to the local police station once in a month i.e. on Monday of first week of each month, commencing from June, 2021 2/3

till the disposal of appeal.

The order dated 8th February, 2021 passed in Criminal Application No. 01/2020 in Criminal Appeal No. 465/2020 stands modified.
