The only prayer made by the petitioners in this writ petition is for a direction against the respondent Nos. 2 to 7 to develop the market in accordance with the order dated 13th October 2010 in writ petition No. 2969 of 2009.

According to the petitioners, though this court had directed the respondent Nos. 2 to 7 to develop the market by an order in writ petition 1/2

17-WP-5336-17.doc No. 2969 of 2009, the market is not developed, thereby causing great inconvenience to the members of the petitioners association.

On the last date of the hearing, we had asked the learned counsel for the respondent-Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation to seek instructions and make a statement within what time the market would be fully developed.

In pursuance of our direction in the order dated 11th October 2017, the learned counsel for the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation makes a statement on the basis of the communication dated 7th November 2017 (a copy of which is placed on record) that the market would be developed within a period of 18 months.

By accepting the statement made by the learned counsel for the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation, which would be binding on the respondent nos. 2 to 7, we dispose of the writ petition with no order as to costs.
