This is an application seeking expeditious hearing of the First Appeal on the ground that the applicant is senior citizen. It is submitted that as per the order passed by this Court in the year 2008 itself hearing of the First Appeal is expedited and it was fixed on 11.08.2018 for final hearing.

As the notice of this application was directed to be served on the respondents as none has remained present today also, the learned counsel for the applicant has filed the affidavit of service to state that the notice is accordingly served on the respondents. As none present on behalf of the respondents today also, this application for expeditious hearing is allowed and the matter is kept for final hearing on 17.10.2016 at 3.00 p.m.
