2] This is an application filed under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (for short, "the Act") whereby the applicant has prayed for extension of time limit for the arbitral tribunal to conclude the arbitral proceedings and publish an award. It is stated that the arguments are over and award is to be passed. 3] Learned Counsel for the respondent has no objection for the prayers as made in the application.

CRP 2 6-CAP-33-2019 .doc 4] Having heard learned Counsel for the applicant and having perused the averments as made in the application, it would be in the interest of justice that the application is allowed in terms of prayer clause (a) which reads thus :- "a) the time to make the Award in respect of the reference made by the Order dated 09.08.2016 read with the Order dated 16.09.2016 in Arbitration Petition No. 82 of 2014 be extended by a further period of six months or such time as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper"
