This Application is moved for pre-arrest bail, as the applicants are facing charges under section 420 of the Indian Penal Code in C.R. No. 83 of 2015 registered with Shirur Police Station, Pune. 2.
The case of the prosecution is that complainant Mr. Sanjay Krishnaji Chilal, Block Development Officer of Panchayat Samiti, Shirur gave information to the police that the applicants/accused though were not entitled to get subsidy which were given for excavation and construction of well, but obtained subsidy by submitting forged documents and giving false information to the Government servant. On verification, the police found that the complaint given was true and such forged documents were submitted by the applicants/accused from February 2008 to December, 2008.

The learned counsel for the applicants/accused has submitted that the applicants/accused are old. He submitted that all the forged documents are seized by the police. The applicants are ready to give specimen signature and handwriting to the police. 4.
Learned APP opposed the Application.

From the perusal of the complaint and considering the nature of an offence and as the police have seized all the forged documents, I am inclined to grant pre-arrest bail to the applicants/accused on the following terms and conditions:
O R D E R
i) In the event of arrest, the applicants/accused shall be released on bail upon furnishing P.R. Bond in the sum of Rs.15,000/- each with one or two sureties in the like amount; ii) The applicants shall not tamper with the evidence; iii) The applicants shall not pressurize the complainant. iv) The applicants shall cooperate the Investigating Officer by giving specimen signature and handwriting and shall produce all the documents which are required by the police. 6.
