Heard the learned counsel for the Petitioners. 2.

The contempt alleged is of the order dated 16 September 2021 passed in Writ Petition No. 51 of 2021. A direction was issued to the Respondents not to withdraw the benefit of advance increment. 3.

It is not shown in what manner there is deliberate and wilful defiance. The learned counsel for the Petitioners sought to urge various issues on merit, which, obviously, cannot be considered in contempt jurisdiction. It is open for the Petitioners to institute substantive proceedings for redressal of their grievance, if any. 4.
