This is an application for transit bail filed by the Applicant apprehending his arrest in C.R. No.18 of 2011 registered with State Cyber Police Station, Raipur Chhattisgarh, for offences punishable under Section 420 of the IPC and Section 66 of the Information and Technology Act, 2000 (IT Act).

The Applicant has placed on record copy of notice under Section 41-A of Cr.P.C. received from State Cyber Police Station Raipur, Chhattisgarh in the aforesaid crime. Learned counsel for the Applicant states that he needs to approach the appropriate Court at Raipur for 1/2

Megha 910_aba_1172_2022.doc seeking pre-arrest bail. He further states that the Applicant has to engage an advocate and prays for transit bail for six weeks. 3.

Considering the reasons stated in the application, the Applicant is granted transit bail for a period of six weeks on the following terms and conditions:

(i) In the event of arrest of the Applicant in C.R. No.18 of 2011 registered with State Cyber Police Station, Raipur Chhattisgarh, he shall be released on transit bail for a period of six weeks on furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs.25,000/- with one or two sureties to the like amount;

(ii) The bail order shall remain in force only for a period of six weeks.
