Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned APP for the Respondent No.1 - State and learned counsel for the Respondent No.2 - CBI.

By this petition, the petitioner seeks the following relief:- (b) that the Application of the Petitioner for return of Rs.2 lakhs made in Special Case No.2 of 2014 may kindly be allowed and the CBI may be directed to return the said amount to the Petitioner on such terms and conditions as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit.

Learned Counsel for the respondent no.2 - CBI states on instructions, that the Respondent no.2 - CBI is ready to pay the petitioner a sum of Rs.2 lakhs which is equivalent to the trap amount on an undertaking that the petitioner will not seek the trap amount of Rs.2 lakhs in future. 4.
Learned Counsel for the petitioner states that on receipt of the aforesaid amount of Rs.2 lakhs which is equivalent to the trap amount, the petitioner will not make any other request for return of the said amount. 5.
In view of the said statement made by the learned counsel for the respondent no.2, nothing survives for consideration in this petition. The same is disposed of accordingly.

The Respondent no.2 - CBI to pay the aforesaid amount of Rs.2 lakhs to the petitioner, within six weeks from today. 7.
