Learned counsel for the applicant seeks leave to withdraw the application as the trial has commenced. However, the request is made as the trial has commenced the trial is expedited. Considering the applicant is in custody since 16/01/2021 almost for a period of 2 years, the request made is reasonable as the trial has commenced. A request is made to the learned Judge to expedite the trial by end of May 2023.
