Mr. H.J. Dedhia, APP for the State.
CORAM : P.V. HARDAS & Dr. SHALINI PHANSALKAR-JOSHI, JJ.
APRIL 27, 2015.
P.C. :- These Applications have been filed by the Applicants in the respective Appeals. Initially, the Applicants had been released on bail by this Court. However, when the Appeals have been called out for hearing repeatedly neither the Appellants nor their Counsel was present and therefore, this Court had cancelled the bail and had directed issuance of non-bailable warrants. Pursuant to the said issuance of nonbailable warrants, these Applicants have been taken into custody. The Appeals are of the year 1994-95 and had been repeatedly called out for hearing.
2.
In our opinion therefore, the Applicants are not entitled to be released on bail now. These Applications are accordingly dismissed. We, however, direct that these Appeals be listed before the Court for final hearing on 30.4.2015.
Stand over 30.4.2015.
