The issue projected in the Public Interest Petition concerns a building on land referred to in prayer clause 11 of the Writ Petition.

It is not in dispute that under the Maharashtra Slum (Improvement Clearance and Redevelopment) Act 1971, by way of a

2 9 PIL 156-2018.doc statutory provision Apex Grievance Redressal Committee has been constituted.

We dispose of the Petition directing the Petitioner to submit a representation containing the grievances which the Petitioner highlights. The representation shall be submitted to the Apex Grievance Redressal Committee constituted under the Slum Act. The Committee shall proceed to decide the same after hearing Respondent Nos.3 and 4 whose names would be disclosed in the representation.

The decision shall be taken within 12 weeks from the date the representation is submitted to the Committee by the Petitioner.
