This civil application seeks a prayer for interim payment / deposit of damages. The interim relief has been granted in favour of the Respondent (original Appellant in second appeal) and this relief has been operating since 1998. After so many years, now that the appeal itself is ripe of hearing, it is not possible to consider any interim application. Instead, the appeal itself be taken up for final hearing in the week commencing from 14 March 2017.
