By this petition, preferred under Article 226 of the Constitution of India and under Section 482 of the Criminal Procedure Code, the petitioners seek quashing of the FIR registered vide C.R. No.56 of 2020 with the MIDC Police Station, Mumbai for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 408, 341, 406, 420 and 379 of the Indian Penal Code.

Quashing is sought on the premise that the petitioners and the respondent no.2 have amicably settled their dispute. 3.

Learned APP, on instructions of Mr. Suresh K. Palyekar, PSI, attached to the MIDC Police Station submits that after investigation into the said C.R., the police have filed "A" summary report in the Court of learned Metropolitan Magistrate, 22nd Court at Andheri, Mumbai on 13.08.2021.

Having regard to what is stated by the learned APP, the learned Counsel for the petitioners does not press this petition and seeks leave to withdraw the petition with liberty to file a fresh petition, if the occasion so arises.

Petition is accordingly disposed of as withdrawn with liberty as prayed.
