The learned AGP appearing for the respondents pointed out that the files have been forwarded to the concerned Hon'ble Minister for taking appropriate decision. Hence, we dispose of these petitions, by passing the following order :-

ORDER

i) We direct the State Government to take appropriate decision on the proposals for grant of prior approval under clause - (b) of sub-section (1) of Section 36A of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, 1966 as expeditiously as possible and in any event, within a period of two months from today. No further time shall be granted;

ii) The orders passed by the State Government shall be immediately communicated to the District Collector of Nashik ;

3/3 ii) The District Collector, Nashik shall pass appropriate orders on the applications of the petitioners within a period of one month from the date on which the orders of the State Government are received by him ;

iii) All contentions on merits are kept open.
