The grievance of the petitioner is that though his caste validity claim is pending before the Caste Scrutiny Committee - respondent No.2, respondent No.3 is insisting the petitioner for producing the caste validity claim with further direction that if caste validity certificate is not produced, his services may be terminated.

Having regard to the fact that the petitioner's caste validity claim is pending before the Caste Scrutiny Committee, we dispose of this Petition by directing respondent No.2 to 1/2

915. wp 4802.18.doc decide the petitioner's caste validity claim as expeditiously as possible. We further direct that till the petitioner's caste validity claim is decided, no coercive steps be taken against the petitioner by respondent No.3 for removing him from the service. The petitioner to appear before the Caste Scrutiny Committee on 03/05/2018 at 11.00 a.m.
