On 29/04/2022, while admitting the applicant to interim protection, this Court recorded that there is a delay of about two months in lodging the F.I.R. and the record is indicative of the fact that the complainant accompanied the applicant to the lodge, which is located at a distance of about one hour and was in the company of the applicant for a considerable long time. It was also recorded that there is no need for any custodial interrogation.

It is informed by the learned senior counsel Mr.Mundargi that the applicant has co-operated in the investigation by reporting to the police station, as directed by this Court. The learned A.P.P. is not able to bring out any material on record, which would warrant further custodial interrogation of the applicant in the backdrop of the accusations faced by him. 3.
In the wake of the above, subject to the stipulation that the applicant shall continue to render his co-operation, order dated 29/04/2022 is made absolute.
