Heard the learned counsel for the applicant and the learned APP for the State.

The learned counsel seeks leave to withdraw the application. 3.

The learned counsel for the applicant, however, submits that the charge has been framed on 14th September, 2023. However, there has been no progress in the trial. The applicant is a foreign national. The learned counsel therefore prays for a direction to expedite the trial.

Application stands dismissed as withdrawn.

The learned Judge, Special Court is requested to make an endevour to conclude the trial in Special Case No. 935 of 2022 as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of one year from today.
