The above Civil Application has been filed seeking a direction that the Respondent No.1 be directed that the Petitioner's Revision be decided in terms of the order dated 22.12.2015 passed in the above Writ Petition by a Learned Single Judge of this Court (M. S. Sonak, J). By the said order dated 22.12.2015, the statement made on behalf of the Respondent No.1 by the Learned AGP that the Revision would be decided BGP.

(903)-CAW-1069-16.doc within a period of six weeks was recorded. Though a period of almost four months is over, the said Revision is as yet pending. However, it seems that after the filing of the above Civil Application, the parties have received a notice that the hearing in respect of the Revision is to take place on 27.04.2016 at 3.15 p.m. before the Hon'ble Minister for Revenue, Government of Maharashtra. The Learned AGP on instructions states that the Revision would be decided latest within eight weeks from 27.04.2016. Since period of four months is already over from the passing of the order dated 22.12.2015, the Revisionary Authority is directed to dispose of the Revision within eight weeks of 27.04.2016 and not ask for further extension.

The Revisionary Authority is expected to pass an order dealing with the contentions raised by the parties before it. It is also expected that the reasoned order would be passed expeditiously after the hearing is concluded. All parties are directed to appear before the Revisionary Authority on 27.04.2016 when the matter is kept for hearing. With the aforesaid directions, the Civil Application is disposed of. [R.M.
