1] The applicant in civil application / respondent in the main appeal has been depositing a sum of Rs.3,500/- per month and shall continue to do so until the disposal of the appeal. Now that the appeal is posted for final hearing in the week commencing from 20 March 2017, the applicant does not press this civil application. 2] The civil application is disposed of accordingly. 3] The Registry is however directed to invest the amounts deposited by the applicant / original respondent upto now in a suitable fixed deposit account with a nationalized bank for an initial period of one year.
