This is an application for anticipatory bail. The applicant is apprehending arrest in connection with C.R. No. I-61 of 2020 registered with Shreenagar Police Station, Thane on 20.06.2020. 2.

The case of the prosecution is that co-accused formed an unlawful assembly. The complainant was forcibly taken by the said persons, removed clothes and asked to parade. They caused hurt and grievous injury to the complainant. He was forced to say that Vicky is his boss. The case of the prosecution is that co-accused was acting at the behest of the applicant.

The applicant had preferred an application for anticipatory bail before the Sessions Court, Thane. The said application was rejected on 04.05.2021. Learned APP submits that the involvement of the applicant is disclosed in the FIR as well as during the investigation. The chargesheet has been filed against the arrested accused. The order of the Sessions Court indicates that there are 7 other cases registered against the applicant.

Considering the contents of the FIR and the investigation carried 1/2

(40) ABA 1230-21 out by the Investigating Authority as well as criminal antecedents of the applicant, no case for grant of anticipatory bail is made out. Hence, the application stands rejected.
