This is an application for fixing the date for final disposal of Criminal Appeal No. 593 of 2018. The Applicant was convicted in Special Case (A.C.B.) No.7 of 2013 by the learned Sessions Judge, Solapur on 13/04/2016. Thereafter this Appeal was admitted. It is the case of the Applicant in this application that, during pendency of the trial, he was suspended on 01/01/2012. Learned counsel for the Applicant submitted that, as of today he has retired but his pensionary benefits are adversely affected because of intervening suspension period and he is in financial difficulty. He also invited my attention to paragraph No.18 of the impugned Judgment and order.

I have considered these submissions and I have perused paragraph No.18 of the impugned Judgment and order. Some points are definitely in favour of the Applicant which need to be decided at the final hearing stage. Considering the submissions made by learned counsel for the Applicant, averments made in the application, as well as, observations made in paragraph No.18 of the impugned Judgment and order, I am inclined to add this matter on the weekly final hearing board.

Hence, the order.
O R D E R
i) Add Criminal Appeal No.593 of 2018 on the weekly final hearing board commencing from 05/09/2022.
ii) Interim Application No. 1490 of 2022 in Criminal Appeal No.593 of 2018 is disposed of.
