39 ABA 1223-21.doc Applicant informs that Applicant has joined the investigation and cooperated. It could be noticed that there is matrimonial discord between the parties, as complainant is facing criminal proceedings under the Negotiable Instruments Act at the behest of her mother-inlaw i.e. Applicant's mother, so also Applicant has initiated custody and divorce proceedings in Delhi. Complainant/informant has initiated proceedings under D.V. Act at Mumbai. As such, Applicant' s false implication, in view of matrimonial discord, cannot be ruled out. 3] In the aforesaid backdrop, in my opinion, ad-interim protection needs to be confirmed.

4] In the event of his arrest in connection with C.R. No.76 of 2021 registered with Oshiwara Police Station, Mumbai, the Applicant be released on bail on his executing P. R. Bond in the sum of Rs 30,000/- (Rupees Thirty Thousand Only) with one or two sureties in the like amount. Applicant shall attend the Investigating Officer as and when directed. Applicant shall furnish his contact numbers and the proof of permanent place of his residence to the Investigating Officer within one week from today.
