In the morning session, the above referred appeals were called, but since none appeared for the Appellant, an order was

2/3 passed to place the matter before the Regular Court for hearing. 2.

In the afternoon session, Mrs. Harjinder Kaur Paramjit Singh Bhasin - Appellant in Criminal Appeal No.529 of 2009 along with her son Sanjhotsingh P. Bhasin appeared and requested to permit them to go through the appeal papers, since Mr. Paramjit Singh Bhasin-husband of Harjinder Kaur Bhasin, who was looking after the affairs is indisposed.

On the request being made, the appeal papers were shown to Mrs. Harjinder Kaur Bhasin and her son and after going through the appeal papers, they requested that they may be permitted to withdraw both the appeals.

In Appeal No.530 of 2009, Mrs. Harjinder Kaur Bhasin is the power-of-attorney holder of Mr. Paramjit Singh Bhasin, has requested for similar withdrawal of appeal, since said appeal was filed by her husband. She has placed the notarized power-of-attorney on record. The notarized copy of the power-of-attorney is taken on record and marked '

X' for identification. The Aadhar Cards of Harinder Kaur Bhasin and Sanjhotsingh P. Bhasin are taken on record.

In the light of above, the prayer for withdrawal is accepted and the Criminal Appeal Nos.529 of 2009 and 530 of 2009 are permitted to be withdrawn and accordingly, the Appeals stand disposed of.

In view of disposal of the Appeals, the application pending therein, if any, does not survive and also stands disposed of. 7.

The Record and proceeding, if any, be sent back to the trial Court.

Refund of Court fees, if any, be made as per rules. 9.

No order as to costs.
