By this petition, the petitioner seeks a direction to the respondent No.2 to decide the proposal of the petitioner as Shikshan Sevak, as early as possible.

Mr.Kulkarni, the learned counsel for the respondent No.2 ­ Education Officer states that, if the proposal of the petitioner is not decided as yet, the same would be decided within a reasonable time.

bsb 2 WP5571.14.doc Since the prayer made by the petitioner is innocuous, we dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the respondent No.2 to decide the proposal of the petitioner, if not decided, as early as possible and positively within a period of six weeks. Order accordingly. No costs.
