Heard. Affidavit-in-reply filed by Mr.Jetly is taken on record. 2.

After having heard both sides we are of the opinion that the respondents cannot be granted time of three months as prayed for by Mr.Jetly. Since provisional assessment is made on 9th March 2018, goods have been released but the bank guarantee to the extent of 100% of the value of the goods is retained, interest of justice would be served if we dispose off this writ petition with a direction to the respondents to finalize the assessment within eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petition is disposed off by clarifying that no opinion is expressed on the rival contentions by us.
