This application is filed through jail. Hence, Mr.Archit Sakharkar, advocae, is appointed as amicus curiae in this matter to espouse the cause of the applicant.

Learned Prosecutor submits that the Sessions Case No.275 of 2014 (C.R. NO.469 of 2013) is pending before the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Bombay. The offence is punishable under sections 394, 397, 342, 506 and 120B of the Indian Penal Code. By this petition, the petitioner seeks an order of speedy trial by making the matter time-bound, be passed. It is a sessions case of the year 2014. 3.

In view of the facts of the case, the learned trial Judge is the best person to know his file. Therefore, the order to make the trial time-bound 1 / 2

appln.263.2016_910.doc cannot be passed. However, as informed by the learned Prosecutor that charge in this case has been framed in August, 2015, the learned trial Judge is directed to expedite the matter.
