The above Civil Application has been filed for stay of the Award passed by the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Mumbai. The Tribunal has awarded a sum of Rs.48,51,580/- which is the sum total under different heads. In our view, the interest of justice would be served if interim stay in terms of prayer clause (a) is granted on the condition that the Applicant deposits the entire decreetal amount in the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Mumbai within four weeks from date.

Civil Application is accordingly disposed of. The Respondentsclaimants would be at liberty to file an application seeking withdrawal of the amount which would be considered on its own merits and in accordance with law.
