This is an application for extension of time to furnish sureties. The applicant was granted bail by this Court vide order dated 7.1.2021 passed in Criminal Bail Application No.220/2020 in connection with C.R. No.572/2018 registered at Sakinaka police station on furnishing PR bond in the sum of Rs.25,000/- with one or two sureties in the like amount. At that time, the applicant was permitted to furnish cash bail for a period of two

months from that date. Within that period, he was directed to furnish the sureties.
2.
The time to furnish sureties was extended by order dated 30.3.2021 passed in Interim Application No.1036/2021 in Criminal Bail Application No.220/2020. The time was extended by a period of four weeks from 30.3.2021.
3.
Now, again same prayer is made. This time, the applicant wants extension of period by eight weeks. Same submissions are made that because of spread of pandemic he could not furnish the sureties and his relatives and friends were at the native place. This submission cannot be accepted time and again. However, in the interest of justice I am giving last chance to the applicant to furnish sureties, and that too, only for a period of four weeks. If he fails to furnish sureties within that time, the trial Court shall take steps to take him in custody and the order granting bail to him shall cease to operate for noncompliance of the main condition of furnishing sureties. 4.
Hence, the following order.
: 3 :
O R D E R
(i) The time to furnish sureties is extended for a period of four weeks from today.
(ii) If the applicant fails to furnish the sureties within that time, the bail bond shall stand forfeited and the trial Court shall take steps to secure arrest of the applicant.
(iii) The investigating officer to keep track whether the applicant furnishes sureties and inform the trial Court accordingly.
(iv) Interim Application is disposed of accordingly. (SARANG V. KOTWAL, J.) Deshmane (PS)
